Silk ties transform hard-boiled eggs
This is a busy week for busy Easter bunnies.
There are eggs to dye, pies to bake and treats to make.
One of the easiest ways to dye eggs for the holiday is with silk ties.
I had to repost this from last year, because it is so much fun to do.
And if you don't have old silk ties you can take a scissors to, there's still time to head to your local thrift store or Salvation Army to find some (they often sell for just $1).
It's easy and "green." The silk pieces can be reused several times.
I have all the pieces from last year ready to go, plus a few new ties I found with very pretty patterns.
Now all I have to do is buy some eggs!
This is so neat, Barbara. I never knew about this. Happy Easter, Sweety :)
ReplyDeleteSame to you, Maryann! (It's my favorite holiday.)
